These are the cards pious says are mandatory for this build. It adds up to 91 spell points, which leaves you with 29 to spend.
This book was made pre-DvN and perhaps pre-FvW also (not sure).
I would add Sectarus (3 points), another dissolve (2 points), 2 more teleports (8 points), another Rhino Hide (2 points), Battleforge (3 points), Gauntlets of Strength (2 points), Leather boots and gloves (1 point each), another Lash of Hellfire (2 points), 2 enchantment transfusion (4 points) and another Flameblast (1 point).
Now the goal of this spellbook is to get in the face of the other Mage and beat on them with large creatures while denying your opponent's strategy.
Pious has broken down this book very well on the forum post, so there is no need to repeat it all again on here. Just go look at his post. I'll summarize it though.
Round 1
19 mana.
Every time, QC enchanter's ring (-2), then move and QC Cheetah Speed facedown on yourself (-1).
16 mana left.
Round 2
25 mana.
This is where you must decide which big creature to bring out. You should either spend almost all your mana and bring out the Lord of Fire, or save a little bit and bring out the Vampiress. Which one you summon depends somewhat on your preferences, but mostly on what you think your opponent's strategy is.
After your creature is summoned, you basically want to run at the opponent with both your Mage and creature and beat them down, casting curses as you go.
