The strategy with this book (like most Forcemaster spellbooks) is aggro, aggro, and more aggro. The spellbook does not pack armor because the Forcemaster instead steals it from her opponents. Thoughtspore was protected using Block and Reverse Attack. It had Force Hammer bound to it, which could probably be cast every turn because the FM usually uses her full action to attack instead of casting spells.
Another strategy mentioned was that the Forcemaster would cast Charm and Force Crush on opponent's creatures in order to bait them into using their Dispel cards. Then, once the opponent was out of Dispels, the FM would drop another Force Crush or Mind Control. He would also use Seeking Dispel and Dissolve often to make sure that the opponent didn't get beefed up.
In the last game against the Priestess, the Priestess brought out her Temple of Asyra but the FM targeted it immediately. This really threw off the strategy of the Priestess, who expected the FM to come after the Mage instead of the spawnpoint. However, you must remember to protect your spawnpoints too. Often it is preferred that they attack your spawnpoint instead of your Mage, but the FM can destroy spawnpoints very easily with Force Hammer. This is why cards with the Intercept trait are so valuable.
